Suspect Dies From Injuries In Officer-Involved Shooting In Hudson Valley

The suspect injured in Tuesday morning's officer-involved shooting has died, state police announced late Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred late in the morning in Dutchess County on Route 82 in town of Stanford when police responded to a report of a menacing incident.

The name of the trooper and individual who was shot is not being immediately released.

The investigation into the shooting is currently ongoing.
